[metro] (the metronome) (the metronome, a time mark tool in miliseconds) - a device used by musicians that marks time at a selected rate by giving a regular tick.
Add a object and type out metro.
You can add a few messages to the metro's inlet as depicted in the above image. You can also add a toggle to the inlet which is in the next image. Toggle does the same thing in the current image. [1( - to start [0( - to stop. [bang( - to start [stop( - to stop. Same thing toggle turns things off and on.
Lower the number the faster the metronome.
Higher the number the slower the metronome.
The blinking of the bang object changes depending what you number you put beside metro.
